French lessons for partners of international staff

When you move for a partner's job, you often meet French first at the school gate, the doctor and the shops. These lessons help you feel at home sooner.

What we work on

Daily life

Shops, transport, neighbours and the small conversations that make a new city feel familiar.

School and family life

Speaking with teachers, reading messages from school and talking with other parents.

Appointments and paperwork

The commune, the doctor, the insurer and the letters that arrive in French. See French for settling in Geneva.

Meeting people

Introducing yourself, making plans and joining clubs or associations with confidence.

Lessons that fit your day

Many partners have the daytime free, which suits my hours: every day from 11:00 to 19:00 Geneva time, weekends included. We set the pace together, and the lessons follow your own situations, not a fixed course.

You can also use the lessons to prepare for what comes next, such as French for work. See professional French and how my lessons work.
